Diabetes and Obesity Treatment

Diabetes can also lead to and result from obesity. Risk of development of Type 2 diabetes is usually associated with obesity. In this there is excess body fat deposition around abdomen, leading to resistance of insulin. Conversely, diabetes can exacerbate obesity through medication side effects like weight gain and by influencing metabolic processes that promote fat storage. The intricate interplay between diabetes and obesity underscores the importance of holistic approaches to manage both conditions simultaneously.
Obesity treatment needs a multidimensional approach that includes changing lifestyle, food habits along with medical interventions. Strongly recommending a balanced diet which is rich in lean protein, vegetables, fruits and coupled with physical activity. Under severe conditions medications or surgery may be considered under medical monitoring.
