Nutritional deficiencies in the obese

Nutritional deficiencies in obese mainly points towards the imbalance that arises due to excess intake of calories coexisting with poor dietary habits. This imbalance is the prime reason for deficiencies in essential elements and vitamins like Vitamin D, magnesium and calcium affecting the overall health of the patient.
Obesity-related metabolic alterations, including inflammation and insulin resistance, can further exacerbate nutrient deficiencies by disrupting normal absorption and utilization processes within the body. Various supplementations and comprehensive weight management strategies are needed to be adopted for maintaining wellbeing.
