Gatwiri Murithi is a clinician and public health specialist at the Ministry of Health in Kenya. She holds a master's in Health Systems Management and Application from Kenyatta University and completed a two-year fellowship with Improving Public Health for Action (IMPACT) through CDC/TEPHINET.
She is an astute program officer, responsible for providing technical guidance to develop and implement the HIV and STI component in the health sector.
She is also keen on research and has several publications in reputable journals, including one whose findings were adopted to inform interventions to reduce the prevalence of diabetes in Nyeri County, Kenya. Passionate about driving organizational improvement through Health Systems Strengthening, program management, and research.
