Dr. Miri Park is a researcher at the Food Functionality Research Division, Korea Food Research Institute. She earned her Ph.D. in Animal Science from Jeonbuk National University in 2018, focusing on the health-promoting functions of probiotic bacteria. With extensive post-doctoral research experience at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the Institute of Milk Genomics, her research interests include gut health, host-microbe interactions using intestinal organoids, and the development of functional food ingredients. Dr. Park has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications related to probiotics, gut health, and metabolic disorders. She is currently investigating the prebiotic and anti-inflammatory properties of radish green polysaccharides.
